As ever with Kimberley very difficult and likely to be a surprise or 9! May also revise selections as I see the Shams have a few runners, a couple of which make some appeal and I will be interested to (hopefully) read Dorrie's comments in the morning on how they see their chances and if they think any in particular are likely to perform well on the sand. Dont think so gavin has got better mount -dont get me wrong I want Marcus to win -the only reason is in the running is that as we all know foreign country entries --Go Mark Go

Correct me if I am wrong but didn't Marcus go to Zim last year to help him win the title against Delpech.

Some really nice prices available on decent runners with the Lerena / Marcus show skewing the betting. Marcus could find himself further behind after today as he rides quite a few which have never seen the track... and this is always a risky betting proposition.
For me the following represent great value.... Discreet Lady, Endless Summer, Toy Boy and Biasca at 12/1 : ... had to have some of that!!

Took 7/2 and 10/3 early this morning on Sorrento Dave, preferred it last night but no sand form so no clue really. Heard on the tv this morning that there had been a claim possibly through the stable. Now 16/10 in SA, not sure if moved in UK.
