Smanje-forgotten!!

Wow. I don't now how many post July discussions just breeze past Smanjemanje.

The had every right to be there in the race, trainer prepared to perfection and jockey rode a cracker!

Ride from young Grant van Niekerk took Striker right to the line and they just needed and inch or two of luck to win it.

Even the post mortem on Telly Track, both Nico and neil manage to mention 1st, 3rd 4th etc and no Smanje.

I really feel for the connections of Smanje, oh so close! What a scoop for KAHAL!
Were the trainers of the winner and runner-up not involved in some argy-bargy last JULY or 2 ago?
Let's hope it's as your heading reads: Forgotten!!!

Yes. Full credit to them for going to print with a utter long-shot on top. We should all have that courage of our convictions. Wish I did.

Fitting and racing with a Cornell Collar is just not that easy.....so big credit for Tyrone Zackey and connections....soft palate complications have seen many potential superstars just not be able to preform at the highest levels had this horse won it would have made a great story of the underdog finally overcoming a disability......

• A revolutionary new treatment for soft palate displacement
• An effective alternative to surgery
• Can help identify "silent" displacers
• Used successfully by leading trainers
• A valuable training aid for two-year-olds
• Developed by Cornell University™ equine surgeons

The Cornell™ Collar is protected under US and International patents.

The device should be used after your veterinarian has determined that your horse has (or is at risk of) intermittent dorsal displacement of the soft palate, that is likely to be improved from positioning the larynx in a more forward and upward location.
