Individual and Relay

Brilliant news he is in 400mt plus relay

Sure Barry was an athlete in the olden days,he just forgot to patent the fosbury flop

I don't think the made the A standard.

As for the relay, anybody can be chosen.

he is certainly fast enough to make an impact in that even, especially with the running start.

Should generate some genuine excitement.

Of all the things I've seen in track and field, undoubtedly the most exciting was the first of these blade runners, a guy that an an exhibition sprint at a famous high school sprint in Southern California across the street from Santa Anita at Arcadia High School.

The announcer informed the crowd of about 4,000 that this kid had never lost a race. He also told us that the kid would probably look hopelessly beaten close home, but that he probably would win.

With 10 meters remaining, this kid was in last place in a 100 meter dash.

The guy called it: he surely couldn't win from where he was position.

Then, sure enough, the kid exploded to win by daylight.

Skeptical adults in the crowd rose to their feet and went berserk, me included.

I have never seen anything that explosive in my life.
