this is easiest july in years.cape trainers will dominate.jackson for 1st banker.for 2nd english garden,t o b,top seller, for 3rd same as 2nd add p jordaan, polar bound and 4th same as 3rd add castlethorpe and any 2 of your fancies and you cant lose.dont worry abt mdk horses as none of them will plc.no need to worry abt kzn trained horses as there trainers are just to weak to compete with cape boys.this is sad but its the truth and results of kzn season proves this fact.
guaranteed double on day is jackson onto ebony flyer.fill your boots.

Leave out both Jackson and Ilha Bela and you'd drop about 98% of the tickets, the payout would probably be worth more than your ante post bet on either horse!!!
Guessing has never been widely acclaimed as a good gambling strategy.

I'm not a quartet man, but may make an exception seeing it's the July; my strategy would be similar to gregb's; there seems to be an 'outsider' that nobody gives a chance, arriving in the 2nd 3rd or 4th position every year, so my suggestion is to take 4 or 5 horses you like (Group A) and then combine them, taking percentages of course:

A x Field x A x A
A x A x Field x A
A x A x A x Field

and if you're looking for that big payout:

Field x A X A x A

I normally only play in 2 ways......banker / 2 horses / 8 or 9 horses / the same 8 or 9 horses OR i rove 2 horses with 6 horses. I must admit though, that i am not very successful with quartets.

Golden rule, multiple quartets, ALWAYS TAKE FIELD AT THE BACK... Yes I know i preach this but go look back how many times you have missed a quartet cause you didn't do this...B)-
