and that my friends is that................as more and more handicaps have crept into sa racing its been OBVIOUS that the "great/awesome/brilliant" trainers of 10 years ago are actually clueless in placing their horses in correct races.
Its not the calibre of horse that counts its the running in the correct race.

Justin,I'm sorry but that comment is spoken like a loser fella!
You believe successful people achieve because they are lucky?
The real reason there are good trainers and poor trainers is cos,as in all careers, life consists of winners and losers!

I was probably 35 at the time or I did not bother to update the age at the tme of edit - Who knows. The point is time flies and it takes notes with time stamps on them to realise it.
Hope this now makes sense solo.

Have some fun !
Do you want to be right or do you want to be happy ?
Most of us in horseplaying are in the same 'boat' ...enjoy the process.
Life is oh so very short ( and often oh so serious ).

You gotta be a psychologist.
What was Baffert doing in UAE world cup final, the day after his heart op ?
It was the Sheikh who saved him by rushing him to hospital and it's not uncommon these days to see people recovering from this operation within hours, but was he a likely candidate for the day's races after all that ?
In my opinion he was n't and he went there just to see his friends

this has to be questioned...how would u answer the turn around of 2 horses in 1 season ,namely BOLD SILVANO...AND THE NAME ESCAPES ME...THE OTHER BEING the horse that ran second in the july to BOLD SILVANO...both these horses ...going no where with their previous trainers...then turns the corner around in a matter of months...if it was 1 u can say just a fluke...but 2...u got to hand it to the masters golden touch...dont u agree?
i often say..if mike de kock had this horse...he would be a champion...
but there's 1 other trainer i believe gets the max. out of a horses ability and that is DENNIS DRIER....he is the absolute unsung champion in my books

there are very good trainers who arent successful because they dont have very good horses...ones that place horses well etc like mr h states..but because the guy is not successful what percentage of racegoers will say he is a "good" trainer? then you have succesful trainers who really arent good trainers as well..i was referring to successful trainers..not good ones..there is a huge difference
