Hibs, I think I will stick to getting up at 4am every day even in winter rather than do your job moderating conspiracy in everything posters and some others!

We have the same thing in Greece.
I have to disagree. If we don't allow for dissent then we become like Kremlin plus if some real nastiness happens we become cover up mob.
The horse racing forums can be useful in many ways.
Horse racing forums as tipsters are lousy.
I closed mine because everybody thought it was supposed to generate good tips, but this was not happening.
It was useless trying to ripost "this is not what we do here and don't read the forum tips".
Someone even tried to create an encrypted thread with daily tips. You had to use a certain utility to decrypt. But when I checked, the suggestions were 99.99% losers. That was the last straw.

so what u are suggesting justin...is a kind of league system....with hibs and scotia being the handicapper and giving us all a merit rating ...according to our posts.....and we get a race figure after 5 posts minimum...so 1 forum...will be for 90 merit rating...and the second will be 89 and less........and each forumite will be continually assessed as per comments...TIPPINGS ARE NOT CONSIDERED AS PART OF YOUR RATING...so bad tipsters could still remain in the premier league...despite bad tipping.....geez this forum business is becoming increasingly more difficult to run....and here we say PHUMELELA IS DOING A BAD JOB....imagine what they up against....LOL

You fancy they 're in the money ?
In my experience soccer forums have some good tipsters, or at any rate they 're fighting their way.
Horse racing forum tipsters tend to falter.
Maybe I 'm opinionated.

as much as we respect the opinion of trainers I see nothing wrong with criticizing them. trainers discover the abilities of their horses through trial and error. there's a reason why there are successful and poor trainers. in my opinion poor trainers tend to have similarities, e.g.: using blinkers even when they are not working, running a horse over unsuitable distance or class or using unsuitable pilots. I don't have to be a trainer/ex-trainer to know that a horse is unsuited by a particular variable.....

in my opinion there are successful trainers and poor trainers coz good trainers have good stock and poor trainers have bad stock...give mike de kock chris erasmus's horses and he wont train a gr1 winner..give chris erasmus de kocks horses and he will train many(using names purely as examples)

I disagree Justin - as in life certain people are better than others - trainers are the same - A good trainer does not have to be a GR I trainer - He must be able to find the weakest company for his horse to run in that will give it the best chance of earning - How many trainers actually try to do that?

nah, let's all give up on racing and betting on horses, we're all addicts to this forum already. We can get odds on which poster posts a crappy post next. oops.
