Does anyone know the well being of Gavin Lerena ?

Interviewed after he had a winner earlier in the day Gavin stated that Mary's Pride had a chance, but was a "dill filly". He sustained an injury at the start and the filly was scratched.

I have heard conflicting reports that;

1) his season is over.
2) he will be back in 2 weeks.
