Breeding and stats of the horse Calvlitsa
Half brother by Al Mufti and trained by Roy Magner ran 7 races.....no win and average of 21,11 lenghs behind winner in 7 starts
www.formgrids.org/subscriber/fgHorseHist...&hs=MOLTEN%20LAVA,ZA
Half brother by National Emblem ,owned by Jooste and kie trained by J Ramsden ran 7 times in capetown for 2 places then was send to the ultra reliable Tara Laiing in PE who won 2 races and a place in 3 races.....
www.formgrids.org/subscriber/fgHorseHist...S%20AND%20STRIPES,ZA
Not that top sort of breeding and results you want to see in the next big champion ......Lets hope that Captain Al really turned this mare's fortunes around......no brainer if you seen that why Barry sold the Horse asap.....he dont take chances with unreliable mares.... lets see if he was that 1% not correct

Blue I hear it can run ..... morning, nights anytime. They say it can run in the first four somewhere during the race but will be surprised if it's not in the first ten ..... but just keep it quiet, lol.

The fact that you use Formgrids as a pedigree tool, the fact that you didn't know Lexington Love threw Cataloochee. (That's not the only one though, she also threw another very speedy mare who beat our filly in a minor feature at Turffontein but the name escapes me).
Good luck in your endeavours though.

This post has been brought back from April.
Tipsters corner was the first to hear about this way back.
I wonder why they took so long to get a run.

To me it seems as if the Spies stable has gone a little quiet of late. Their horses not running very well.
With this filly being a first timer and from a stable who is going through a dip I would be careful taking any fancy prices.
Also she is bread to be a flyer. Why would they not put her in a 1000m race?
Not saying she cannot win, just be careful before diving in imo.

The horse had a bad injury, had to be out for a good few months, no point bringing a 2yo out at the end of the season, and neither at the beginning of this one on the hard tracks, now that the cape season is ahead, perfect time to give a filly like this her run
