Some hectic results yesterday? It was mentioned on another thread that it is "uncanny" when we have a big race day that this happens, certainly not suggesting its planned, just strange that it happens and will add a bit extra spice to the 28th (tu)

RIAN DU PLESSIS: Our research has shown that what drives tote betting is pool sizes, not the take-out and the sport needs the funding. You can see from our numbers if we drop our take-out and we don’t have a commensurate increase in betting then we really are in trouble.

Will the full carryover go to the big meeting on Saturday or will they limit it to R500,000 to put the rest to Sunday. The powers that be seem to sometimes do one thing and then the other the following week. I hope the full carryover goes to Turffontein.

just to put a stick in the spokes........ the LOTTO has 15 mill. guaranteed jackpot on sat 28th.............they do this EVERY BIG RACE MEETING around the country, to try & get that extra buck !

And Elvis we have the Pick 6 carryover split over 2 meetings. I still don't know why we can't have one meeting a weekend with the Pick 6 carryover.

What don't you understand? PH must keep Cape boytjies happy otherwise they will not agree to take over, but watch when everything is said and done they will suck the hind tit.
