Murdered in his Northcliff branch this evening. What kind of country is this ? Sickening.

I am sickened by this news .MIKE O CONNOR was a legend and an absolute gentleman.I have spent time at the Bullring and Mike and his sisters and daughters are the most accomadating people that i have met. This is the saddest easter i and many of the punters who new Mike will have. My condolences to the whole family. MIKE YOU WILL REMAIN IN OUR MEMORIES FORV EVER>

Absolutely shocked and saddened by this news ! We have known Mike and his family from school days, he was so good for the game, a great loss.

Im absolutely shattered. He was such a gentleman and always full of fun.Knew him from the old days at wits tatts and he bought me lunch at the bullring many times. RIP.....................MIKE...................

What a tragedy. South Africa, South Africa, South Africa.... To call this country the most democratic country in one breath and barbaric acts like this in another breath keep happening...it just does not tie-up - Something is wrong, very wrong in the law making of this country. Without the Bullring, that is the end of that shopping centre, that is for sure. How will other bookmakers take to this???? Only time will tell.

Guys this is desperate.What happened,i take it was a robbery by some low life scum.It puts things in perspective
when a man goes to work and doesnt return home to his family. I didnt know Mike but wish to pass on my condolences to his
family.
