ATM"s that short pay
13 years 2 months ago
On Saturday I attempted to draw R750 from a ABSA atm locally. It spat out R700 only as the was a R50 amongst the R100 notes. So I phone this morning and they say "ssssooorrrryyyy, kunt be helping you. You must got to the nearest branch! WTF it is simple take my details and when the machine is next balanced my R50 should be picked up easily. BUT you see I heard that the ATM's balancing etc is done by outside contractors so you never find a machine "over" because I am certain that the 2 or however many are present when doing this just take the excess cash and split it? Over the last 12 months or so this is the 4th time it's happened to me and never once have I been refunded my R550 lost! BTW the other 3 times were at Standard Bank x2, FNB x1. Have you clanners had similar hassles?
