Yesterday on another thread you guys were talking about the jockeys betting.. Now I would like to know what about the trainers/owners that gives instructions to a jockey like that? For example like they did with Marcus and said he must win, or maybe saying he must pull? i think it's also not fair, a jockey must ride to his best not like this or that just because they get instructions

Miss B the truth of the matter is quite simple...you don't book a jock of Anton's caliber to ride your horse and ask him to give your horse a miss (pun intended).......it won't happen, the reason that Anton has a 29% win strike rate is quite simple he is a brilliant rider and every race he gives 110% and it makes no difference if it's for Marcus Jooste or Joe Soap who has 1 horse,.he is the complete professional.

if i have a horse in race i will very much want stipes to say "we watch you!" lol, maybe the guy who phone is owner of horse
