Will enjoy seeing how I get on with my selections compared to the African - plus Hibernia!
- experts here...
Turf:
R1: 1. Slippery Slope; 2. Lord York; 3. Black Aces (3-7-1)
R2: 1. Lecture Moments; 2. Western Ways; 3. Tiger's Retreat (1-5-9)
R3. 1. Dance Alley; 2. Lady's Desire; 3. Hot Moon Rising (5-13-1)
R4. 1. Kalami; 2. Tresco; 3. Double Date (5-6-3)
R5. 1. Chop Suey; 2. Come by Once; 3. Jet Dot Com (11-3-2)
R6. 1. Edict; 2. Made of Magic; 3. Sheer Courage (6-3-2)
R8. 1. Royal Arrow; 2. Boylan Blaze; 3. Indigo Amigo (2-4-9)
R9. 1. Mother's Eyes; 2. Woman of the Year; 3. Elodie (12-9-1)
R10. 1. Canute The Great; 2. Fort Lodge; 3. Sun Emperor (6-2-7)
Actual intended wagers... R1 Lord York, R5 Chop Suey, R6 Made of Magic, R9 Mother's Eyes, R10 Canute The Great with at Kenilworth R2 Christina, R7 Smanjemanje, R8 Uncle Tommy, R9 Mystery Dame in very, very small accummulators
Best bets for me at Turf:
1. Mother's Eyes e/w
2. Canute The Great e/w
3. Chop Suey e/w
but I'll probably just do them in small win doubles and e/w treble

Some thoughts:
R3: As mentioned by 2cents this morning on USO, the 1/2 sister to Dancewiththedevil (Dance Alley) takes on the full siter to Lizard's Desire (Lady's Desire) - of the two, I prefer Lady's Desire - two horse race imo
R4: Tresco ran a great race last time imo (rob faux to confirm to what she ran to?) and should take a lot of beating here - Vestal Virgin disappointed me last time and needs improvement imo - Kalami the danger, but may prefer more gorund
R5: Not exactly a star-studded field and an upset certainly possible - I have 3 horses in the PA, Jet Dot Com, Come By Once and Leading the Field
R6: Have to agree with 2cents that Edict has a good chance here and should be a PA banker, but he has never won on this track, so Sheer Courage is a danger imo.
R7: The Met - obviously Igugu hard to beat at best - I think Beach Beauty could be the one if Igugu fluffs her lines - imo Tales of Bravery is better over shorter and real stamina doubts about Givemethegreenlight, so for me the stable companions Bravura and Lion in Winter the ones to complete the quartet
R8: Very tough handicap where a case could be made for most of the runners - I'm loading up in the PA
R9: Very good win by Ilha Bela last time and rates the one to beat - however a widish draw puts me off a little - Elodie has come back from a rest before to win, Woman of the Year has consistent form should be right there again from a good draw - not a lot between Mother's Eyes (perhaps did not enjoy the soft conditions last time) and Elodie - those are the principles imo, but the race does not stop there
Play well if you do (tu)

Frodo I called the handicapper especially to find out what Tresco ran to in her last start and surprisingly she ran to her current rating
