My proposition was to fortune and to a jockey that seldom gets mentioned on any forum. FOR ME he was one of the best (even though i forget to mention him) BUT i saw him about 11 years ago and asked would he consider riding over jumps, imvho he owuld have been a legend today just like McCoy and walsh


His Name is Rambo Vermaak, top top jockey in the lates 80's and nineties.

Miss Becky as you can see he has not been riding since December
and i dont think it will be soon!!!!!! Long way to go to get rid of 10kg ++++

He managed to get from 65 on a saturday morning to 59 on the following Monday and rode in 5 races and won 2... :) what is amazing in that is the weigh he lost was 10% of his total body mass...he made HUGE commitments to win his title

Densarox was always the right one according to what we knew at the time. i admit that I was however surprised to see the drift in the betting at the jump.

We'll never know if that was a true result or not because Denzarox has unfortunately since died of colic, but as I wrote at the time opinions in the yard seemed to be very divided as to which was the best one on the day. As for the drift - betting moves can be deceptive and their value frankly exagerrated.
