Just noticed that MDK has scratched the bottom two in Welwitchas race tomorrow.. Are the condition races a waste of space?

Hibs I am sure they were accepted to stop the race being scrapped. Sore back and temperature don't seem to be the most serious of injuries.

Plenty rain on the East Rand and Northern Suburbs over the last few days, not sure if SmelleyT got as much but if it did the meet must be in doubt?

Happens all the time. But good horses need these races.

Morning All, weather looks great and looking forward to my day at the Big T, and will hopefully have a very competitive runner in the lucky last.

Danger Point's work has been excellent and this is his right trip again. He won from the 2 draw before but if it is a slow run race being a big horse could count against him. He has beaten more than half this field previously and has to beat a few untried 3 and 4 year olds over the distance. I couldn't believe getting 40 and 50/1 a win and from 11/2 to 7/1 a first 4. Even at 20's he must be worth a few eachway. (tu)
