His last 17 runners have all run in the 1st 5 positions. 16 of the 17 would have earned stake cheques for their owners. one ran 5th in KZN so no money.

ANyways stable seems primed and ready for Saturday.

a couple of months ago il sanoietro was a well beaten 4th in the JULY CONSOLATION RACE and now he is 3rd favourite in another very weak renewal of the summer cup,,,bar pj and the apache this field is not group one status

I tend to disagree with u pirates, this is not a weak field imo,but hey dts wt I love about this site...
Debate, and analysis and that's what makes our buildup to the races so exciting.
illsanpietro is price 3rd because of his last run..he will not win this imo.
The field cannot be that weak else PJ and The Apache would be 11/10 and 18/10 respectively, but its 4/1 'weak' fav
