Guys I am hoping this is the last of downpours for the week? We were battered Sat and Sunday its teaming down now ,can't watch tv using my phone the weather is hectic, can only hope that we have clear skies from Wed to Sat?

I tried to add to the post as it was in the outbox for 10 mins as Mrs S is using a mop for the floors and says she is too busy to get me another Scotch, this global warming is totally unacceptable IMO

Had a fair amount of rain in Alberton the past few days but no serious downpours. Weather not looking bad for Friday and Saturday. Looking forward to the raceday. (tu)

Sorry Dave I spoke too soon, it bucketed down at around midnight last night. Hopefully we can get minimal rain on Friday and Saturday.

If there is ever a need to end a drought, organise the Summer Cup day.

60% for thursday and friday. 30% for saturday. In terms of the event, i really hope it happens! Entertaining 8 clients from furious deck and not forgetting my first summer cup. Fingers crossed

Russell after all the efforts that have gone into the day, and organising the celeb race I am sure many would have commitments if postponed, the powers that be will do every thing they can to get the race meeting up and running.
