Sheldon Peters Needs A Good Spanking

It really is high time that somebody hauled Mr Peters over the coals.How those that control racing haven't already done it really perplexes me.His commentary of the 4th @ Greyville tonight is out of line.His job is to call the race,not rubbish the punters who have just backed or bankered the favourite in their bets.Any idiot can work out that he had obviously backed the winner,even Jimmy in the studio had to bite his tongue when he was about to make a comment about the commentary.There is no worse way to stick it to the punter than when he has just done his money,and for some people it could be a lot.

This is not the first time I have commented on here about this,he does it on a regular basis and it really isn't acceptable.

From another perspective, I have backed the winner and quite enjoyed his chirps.

Ok Element,let's see how great you feel next time when you are on the receiving end.

I also wanted the winner to win,but that is not the point.His father is a far better commentator,tells the story of the race and that's it.Braggards are seldom appreciated.

Agree 100% with JAP. In the Pe race today that other whizz Gareth Pepper says "good news from Fairview is there is an objection" Good news for who Gareth ? I backed the original winner. These presenters/ commentators are amongst the thickest planks I have ever had to listen too.

Jap 99.9% of the times I am on the receiving end. I know all to well how you feel. I agree with you commentators should stick to the basics.

Ok sheldon made a crap call today,but generally he is a helluva nice guy,mingles with punters on course and very chirpy

i agree with you JAP this oke is a commentator FULL STOP. The other commentators is the country i don't hear they saying the the things like Sheldon. Soodum no one is saying hes a bad guy... we just saying stick to commentating !!! Call them home

Commentators are big punters, they tend to focus on horses which they have backed.
Dumpy is a classic example.

Sheldon is a good guy BUT........leave the commentry chirps to the birds.
