Gypsy's Warning Bring $1,050,000 at Keeneland

FYI, Gypsy's Warning today sold for $1,050,000 at the Keeneland November Breeding Stock Sale in Lexington, Kentucky. She was bought by The Niarchos Family's Flaxman Holdings LLC. Underbidder was Richard Masson, my partner, who bid $1 million. I bid $900,000.
Other than Ipi Tombe, who topped the December Sales one season in foal to Sadler's Wells at about the equivalent of $1.8 million in U. S. funds, I believe the price for Gypsy's Warning is the best price achieved at public auction by a filly or mare from South Africa.
She will make her next and final start in a few weeks at Hollywood Park in the Matriarch Stakes, the premier North American race over a mile for fillies and mares on the U. S. racing calendar.
Team Valor will oppose her with its fast 3yo filly Summer Soiree, a Grade 1 winner this season of the Del Mar Oaks.

Sun Classique was Aus bred, by Fujikiseki (Japan) out of a Last Tycoon (Ireland) mare, so she's highly international all in all. She went back to Australia I believe ... does anyone know how she did there? Did she have any foals?
