Highest Penetrometer Reading Ever!

I see the penetrometer reading given on the tabgold site for Kenilworth today is 32! Is this a South African record? There's one for you stats junkies.

Not even close, I've seen it in the high 30s at Kenilworth many times, and at least once a good ten or so years ago it was around 40 or 41 - and they raced. The results were mostly bizarre, but they raced.

They are lucky they don't have a Strydom or Wroggeman there, or they would certainly have not raced.
