Flamingo Park Festival

Why are they calling two, very ordinary, crappy cards at Kimberly a festival.........over 2 meetings there are 5 weak maidens and 15 MR handicaps.....thats it!......wow I am so excited I'm wearing a condom already!
I wonder why they decided that the Flamingo "sand" festival should be in the same month as the Emerald cup meeting/s.......if they were 6 mths apart the classier sand stars could be aimed at both....only if Flamingo had proper features of course!
I can understand August for the Vaal, but Kimberly can have their festival at any time of the year.....they don't have an alternate surface anyway.
Why not give the Sand horses two bites at the cherry or is it a deliberate plan to keep the raiders away?

And plenty principle runners have double engagements over the two days .
Today at the vaal the groundsman came to the party . He prepared the track the way it should be . Can't say that for the past month though.
I feel for the guy at the vaal his job is not easy . That track takes a lot of work to get it to were it was today. I hope he maintains the track as he did today in future .The track ran from 3 to 7 sec faster than the last meeting .Scary !!!!!!! It just proves that he can manipulate/prepare the track any way he likes.
I hope the guy in Kimberly will do his job come the "festival" . He really has not in the last month .

Interesting Ant,that the track you have been waiting for , produced more predictable results.....hopefully they take note!
