Last year when i went to Hong Kong for the International Races it was just $10 (R9) R30 is fine but yes you need to include some coupons of some sort.

Have just bought my tickets for next years Grand National over here in Liverpool @ £115....almost R1300.

Would consider R30 very reasonable for a big meeting like the Gold Cup.
