Magic I need your help... We are near the end of the knockout compo this month, we have three matches left. Two semis and the finals. Can you think of two big races coming up fairly soon that I can use as the match races for the semis and a big race later on that I can use as the final. All have to be within the month of August though. Other clansmen can also help magic if they wish...

Maybe have the semi's midweek and then the final in the August Stakes at the Vaal next Saturday??

Sorry for the late reply....

- I don't know if having the compo on consecutive days is ideal, but yes the best races of the week are the Jockey Club Stakes at Arlington on Friday and the August Stakes at the Vaal (sand) on Saturday. Other than that it's just the usual low grade midweek stuff in the deadest month of the year.
