Gold Circle wishes to advise that Messrs Bloomberg, Finch, Marshall and Thurling have formally resigned from the Main Board of Gold Circle (Pty) Ltd. This resignation will however, not in any way affect any current positions that the said gentlemen may hold as Directors of the Western Cape Regional Chapter and as members of the electoral committee of the Western Province Racing Club. In addition, the resignations of the aforementioned gentlemen do not affect the Western Cape Racing Club’s rights as shareholders of Gold Circle.
Messrs Bloomberg and Thurling have been mandated by their Region to continue to represent the Western Cape in pursuing an expeditious and satisfactory agreement regulating the separation of the Western Cape from KZN. Both Regions have undertaken to continue to act in the utmost of good faith and to cooperate fully in achieving the desired separation.
