I forgot to record the Kenilworth penetrometer reading yesterday whilst doing my assessments, does anyone know what it was?

Wednesday 18th May 2011, at Kenilworth Racecourse.

PENETROMETER READING: 24
RAIL CONFIGURATION: Straight Course : The outer rail has been moved in by 2m. Round The Turn : “Summer Course” : The rail has been moved out by 3m from the 1800m mark with the false rail at 5m.

How many times do they take a reading? do they go round the track ,home straight,back straight,bends? Inside ,outside,middle?

Readings can be pretty misleading imo

Take the readings from the finish every 400m around the course.
Taken inside, middle and outside in a line between barriers
The pen readings do vary but the reading given is average
