Hell I'm hot - selected both Splash Gold and Past Master in my Charity Turf team - I already have more points than I got in the whole competition last year(:P)

I would like to direct a few comments at the Igugu fans......I'm not saying she will/cannot win the July but please understand that she has not faced any of the colts she will be taking on. She has not faced Past Master who imo, is not even the best older horse out there.

There are always early fancies and that is a good thing as it keeps the ante post market active but just give the race and the season a chance to develop before you guys make a 3 year old filly a good thing..................

Ipi Tombe was an absolute freak and a filly like her comes along 1 in 100 lifetimes! Let's see if Igugu can get close.

I think we would need to see more racing and the season develop but on present evidence I would have to say that the Cape form is superior to that of Gauteng.

English Garden, Past Master have given this opinion credence but it is very early yet!

We would really have to wait for the Daily News and Greyville 1900 imo to see which way we would need to go!

Bring on the Champions season in KZN!!

remember irish flame, bold silvano had a break after the met and was able to win the 1900 and july.horses need a break especially
the three year olds. great punting clan, sorry if ioffended any one .great site good banter

Can`t believe that 8/1 is still available on Past Master for the July, yet people are waiting to scramble for short prices about Igugu?

I don't think we offend that easily and you are entitled to your views; imo Kavanagh I assume (too lazy to check now) was out at the weights last night and pretty much ran as expected and to use him to put forward an argument that the JHB horses are not 'up to scratch' does not hold water imo. Where I do agree with you is that the JHB horses (and English Garden is not a JHB horse - btw what is the defintion of a JHB horse?) have had a busy time of it lately and some of them may need a little break

I got 70/1, 42/1 and 18/1 on Igugu in dbles and trebles. Nothing short about that.
