Scotia on the weekend

Good evening to the Clan and the last normal weekend before the Easter holidays kick in.

Last Saturday night popped in to see my Afrikaans friends at the local after the Bulls scored "0" not a friendly place and after my post last week! The bottom line was that they tied me to a chair and forced me to listen to their favourite songs by Neil Diamond, Abba and Steve Hoffmeyer plus had to drink "jaggie" bombers to keep me awake, ended up being a good night.

It was a good evening at the big T on Tuesday, here are some photos.

Barcelona 12/10

The Champions League games were again first class and the best prices are Barca 12/10, Utd 5/2, Real 4/1 and Schalke 16/1 to lift the trophy.

Plenty discussion on last weeks National.......National thread

Scottish Grand National on Saturday where Chicago Grey tops the boards at 5/1 in a far easier test for horse and rider.

Its also Sales week, I went passed on the way to Turffontein and very impressive...NYS

MDK sending top team to UK...........MDK TEAM

Derryl Daniels back from fall...........

Plus many more interesting topics and the latest news on the site.

What can we punt on this weekend? or in the near future, don't forget to take your "Risk Free R1,500" via Sportingbet.

We have the big day on the 30th and we need betting? Plus the prices without Igugu.

Slumdog Oscar runs on Friday and is worth an ew at 10/1, its the Doncaster Mile where More Joyous 5/4 should be hard to beat.

Frankel Odds On

Frankel has gone money-on for 2000gns after showing good work, runs this weekend in the Greenham, Uncle Mo has gone 6/1 after his first defeat at 1/10 and Dialed In has gone 9/2 fav.

The Lockinge at Newbury on 14th of May should be taken by Canford Cliffs 14/10 but the Aussie star So You Think might be in the line up?

Lockinge target for Canford Cliffs

Football where its looking like Celtic for the Scottish double and with Man Utd playing as well as ever this season and can do the same in England.
Cricket where the Indian Premier League is "hotting up" Mumbai Indians at 28/10 the favs.
Rugby the Crusaders are as short as evens and why not?

We had a couple of complaints about poor spelling on the site and received this mail:

Can you raed this? Olny 55 plepoe out of 100 can. I cdnuolt blveiee that I cluod aulaclty uesdnatnrd what I was rdanieg. The phaonmneal pweor of the hmuan mnid, aoccdrnig to a rscheearch at Cmabrigde Uinervtisy, it dseno't mtaetr in what oerdr the ltteres in a word are, the olny iproamtnt tihng is that the frsit and last ltteer be in the rghit pclae. The rset can be a taotl mses and you can still raed it whotuit a pboerlm. This is bcuseae the huamn mnid deos not raed ervey lteter by istlef, but the word as a wlohe. Azanmig huh? Yaeh and I awlyas tghuhot slpeling was ipmorantt!

In addition Juju still in the headlines after visiting the Pope:

The Pope leans towards Julius and says, "Do you know that with one little wave of my hand I can make every person in this big crowd here go wild with joy? This joy will not be a momentary display, like that of your followers, but go deep into their hearts and they'll forever speak of this day and rejoice!"

Julius replied, "I seriously doubt that. With one little wave of your hand? Show me."

So the Pope gave him a moerse klap

On the subject of the Pope remember the Geordie lads "welcome to pope idol", still shocked by Pia getting the bullet and Scotty hot fav

Good punting and may your God be with you

Well the good news is that Frankel won well and could start as short as 4/10, plus 4/1 for Derby.
Beshabar wins Scottish National at 15/2 from start to finish
Man City are now 5/10 to lift the FA Cup
More Joyous beat in Aus after downpour
