One-eyed Fire Curtain all set to blaze

Racing takes place at Scottsville PMB today replacing the usual Sunday slot and aside from the 2x grade3 headline features carded, in race 2 we get to see the return of Bridget Oppenheimer's outstanding Fort Wood colt - Fire Curtain.
Fire Curtain is a horse with only one eye, having lost the other as a baby. He's a truly amazing specimen and I expect him to go right through to feature race level this season when the stamina races arrive. Back in February this year when I undertook GPSHR performance profiling of Gavin Van Zyl's horses, Fire Curtain displayed a level of fitness and progression I've personally never seen from a 2 year old that early in his/her career.. read the full article here
