How many more race-meetings must punters wasting their time going to Fairview have to endure without a working tote board before someone at Phumelela cares?

I've been racing for almost four decades and I can't remember ever seeing a field go slower than that in the early part of a 1600m race. I reckon they do quicker in a three mile chase at Ludlow, but thank god Felix put an end to the nonsense and set off to lead. I thought we could be looking at the farce of the century for a while, before The Cat injected at least some pace into the race.
