Golden Sword's run

Morning Clansmen
I see Golden Sword broke the 2000m track record at Meydan..Havent seen the race yet but this is certainly a horse who seems to be a lively contender now for the Word Cup too.
Dubai Millenium held the track/trip record but that was at Nad Al Sheba, with an amazing time of 1m 59.50s.
Golden Sword won in 2m:02:40s.

i think it takes a long time to readjust the horses mostly used as O'Brien's pacemakers, but once Mike gets them right, they really run true to their form.

Archipenko and Eagle Mountain didn't turn out too shabby, either. The Irish Derby winner, on the other hand,.....say no more. It's risky no matter who you buy from, but I'd be happy to own a lot of the horses Ballydoyle doesn't want.
