Why is it in Phumelela country specifically that the cameras have been so poorly placed.Bar the Vaal,the other courses all fail to pick up the horses when they are wide apart,and yet there are no such problems @ Gold Circle courses.It is bad enough that there is no public support at the courses,but even the viewers @ home don't get to see the finishes properly.I heard Goodman and Lafferty talking about our racing being simulcast to America,but surely camerawork is of paramount importance in order to make the SA product of international standards.These problems have been going on for years,and have been discussed on this forum previously,but as per usual they seem to simply fall on deaf ears.It's just not good enough anymore.
