Had a nice days racing on Saturday at the big T.It was a pleasure to have seen some old friends, and after all it seems that our racing is not dead quite yet.Its a pity that it has to be buzzing only on the big sponsored days.Sad to have heard that Rocks Off,had a heart attack, condolences to all concerned,as that is sad when owners lose a good horse. The track looked in mint condition, and as hard as i was looking for my outsider,i would get beaten by another. It was close to a good day,but our huge punt on a horse called Winning Leap, got pipped by the favourite, shit happens, but bravo nice day had by all at box 15.

Yes I agree, it was a fantastic day at the big T and my first experience was a memorable one. It was nice to be in the box with the guys and I was treated very well. Thank you Scott and John and the guys for making me feel welcome. I thoroughly enjoyed my self. I agree the track was in superb condition and the vibe was electric. I never backed so many seconds in my life, but hey we live another day. So I am back in Durban and back to the grinding stone.

Cheers guys......

A great day it was....... how big was the crowd ?

I was in the FURIOUS ROOM...................... glad to report prices SLASHED FROM R 750 per head to R 275 ( 64 % reduction )

food was great, had to pay for our own drinks .... no problem plus POWEROFONE had a winner at our table.

I wonder what the R1500 tickets were REDUCED TO ? catch a wake up P for next year, double the crowd & DON'T START SO HIGH WITH YOUR TICKET PRICES, THEY JUST DON'T SELL AT THOSE RIDICULOUS PRICES.
