I think my horse in the 5 has a place chance back on her course i think. iI like a bit of western slash in the first , outplay in the 6 ran short head behind my filly qui duel.my best bet on the card is autumn wizard in the last . i dont think the p6 can be caught looks like a very hard half stakes card. cheers all keep well:)-D

Balance of Payment is my best of the day on a card, where every race is a handicap (Mauritius style). Good luck, guys, you're gonna need it....
I'm waiting for the usual harangue about maiden handicaps. Is Jack Dash still asleep? Lol.

I guess Call To Arms has a good chance of reaching the first 3, at least. Next best as PA bankers go, perhaps.

Day in day out we are getting use to these poor fields on the Highveld BUT there is some value around today... Probably burn my fingers but going with a straight line pa for some interest...

Really scraping the barrel today; some thoughts:
R2: Sizzling Guy has been running well over 1200; if the 1000 is not to quick could be a banker; money for the 2yr old though, so I am including that one
R3: Not much between High Blue Sky and Sleek Sheik (who has been really disappoining recently, but does come out of an extremely strong form line in her last run) - I am including both in the PA
R4: I prefer the chances of Kaboom to Call to Arms, while the Rahilly yard is in good form, so I will include Raise-a-Poet
R5: Nightmare - using a pin could find the right numbers (or where is that sangoma when you need one)
R6: Competive - obvious two are Rambling Boy (better 1800 imo) and Vicory Belt; I am also including Capital Account who has run some fair runs this trip
R7: Super Red and Advance Call stand out - I am putting in both
R8: Dress Smart has run well this trip and holds Collect Call on their last meeting - tempted to bank Dress Smart but after Cantabro on Tuesday, it is probably wise to include one more
I also think there will be a carry-over in the P6 - will help to get a REALLY nice pool on July day

Not sleeping, busy trying to get on Spanish Armada in the last.
However you look at it, no horse who wins 2 in a row can be 50/1 on the 2nd crappiest card ever assembled. Imagine my surprise to see 66/1 after the opening call. Thankfully there are those rules which preclude any adjustments to the weights so just need a little luck.
Only claimed once so far.
Win, lose or draw I'm looking forward to the last, so this may help me get to the last without actually having to let the rest of the card into my mind and maybe causing myself to put my hand in a meat-grinder to wash away the pain.
If after you have looked at most of those races and you haven't turned to stone, then you will begin to see the reason the industry's financial viability should be filed under "The Titanic" .
(so Magic..enough of a paste?)
