I think the outright value lies with England, they are in the "weaker" half of the draw.
Guessing has never been widely acclaimed as a good gambling strategy.

Pollard is not the answer to our perceived woes - he's also an erratic kicker and often fails to find touch from penalties
- we seem to think that everyone must just submit to our "physicality", and when they don't we lack another game plan - there are many teams who simply won't go away
and what was this bullshit from Kolisi standing in the tunnel, clapping his hands and singing something - the rest of the team just stood there pan faced

Lots of nothing statements made here.

If not Pollard who would you suggest plays 10?

The French captain might still return from injury in time for the quarter-finals.

Anything less than a bonus-point win for South Africa over Tonga would allow Scotland to overtake the Springboks with two bonus-point wins, and in that scenario South Africa would go out because even if they and Ireland finish level on 14 points, Ireland would hold the tie-breaker.

However, Scotland could take a maximum 10 points from their last two games and still not qualify.

OK let's have your thoughts this week

Uruguay vs Namibia +18.5

Samoa vs Japan +4.5

NZ vs Italy +26.5:

Argentina vs Chile +49.5

Fiji vs Georgia +16.5

Scotland vs Romania +57.5

Australia vs Portugal +23.5

SA vs Tonga +41.5

I like Uruguay, Japan and Australia best bet can you imagine the normal handicap vs Portugal before the games began 🤔

Good Punting 👍

Given the situation that the Aussies are in, I think that Portugal can actually turn them over. They, Australia, just want to get as far away from France as possible get rid of the arrogant little man and start afresh

I like this

Pool B = Pool of Death. Ireland, Springboks or Scotland’s paths to make the Quarter finals? Currently log points standings: 1: Ireland (14 - Points difference +122) 2: Springboks (10 - Points difference +86) 3: Scotland (5 - points difference +13)

Scotland has only played two games at this point while the other two teams played 3 games already. Let’s assume Scotland will get 5 points v Romania.

IRELAND: What must Ireland do?
A) Beat Scotland. OR
B) At least get a bonus point if they lose vs Scotland. If, Scotland beats Ireland and get 4 tries bonus point; Ireland will have to they get 2 bonus points for scoring 4 tries and another for losing margin then the Irish will end on 16 points and be in Qs. If Scotland beats Ireland: Scotland get no bonus point, and Ireland get no bonus points, then both teams will end up on 14 points. Scotland will advance to Qs as they beat Ireland.

SPRINGBOKS: What must Springboks do?

A) Beat Tonga with a bonus point and straight into Qs. Even, if Scotland beat Ireland and get bonus point, both teams will be on 15 points; however, Boks will advance to Qs as the Boks beat Scotland in pool game. OR

B) If Boks beat Tonga without bonus point and Scotland beat Ireland with bonus point, Boks will end up on 14 points and Scotland on 15. Both Ireland and Boks will end up on 14 points and Ireland will advance. If, Scots beat Irish, without bonus point and Boks didn’t get bonus point v Tonga; both teams, will end up on 14 points. Boks will go through as they beat Scotland in pool game.

SCOTLAND: What must Scotland do?

A) Beat Romania and Ireland and get 5 points from each game to have a mathematical chance (see above).
If all 3 teams end up on 15 log points, then point difference will come in to play.

Stop with these ridiculous speculations that Ireland will field a B-team v Scotland and lose to kick Boks out of Qs. If Ireland loses vs Scotland, Ireland could lose the top spot of Pool B and/or even not advance to Qs.

Ireland has now won 16 tests in succession and can also break the winning streak record for Tier 1 teams. The All Blacks and England, currently, holds the record for the most successive test wins by a top-tier rugby nation with 18 wins.

lots of nothing statements – don't know what that means, even Google is no help - maybe you meant know-nothing

here is my firm opinion - The Bok that can’t skop, LibBok – he starts at “10”
It’s not an issue for the coach(es) – apparently they don’t even have a kicking coach among all the personnel
they are more worried about been beaten at the break down
