Have not looked at a racecard for over a week ... decided to have a small punt at my favorite track.

Small tickle on M. Yeung at 50/1 and Jerry Chau at 13/2.

Not too bad for Purton today,only lost on 3 favorites.
Was 2nd favorite for the jockey challenge but lies in 8th place with just one 2nd and 30 points behind leader Moreira.

A few stats from scmp.com.......
In the past 10 meetings, Purton has ridden 34 favourites for just two victories – Kings Shield and Beauty Angel.

A $10 flat stake on all of Purton’s rides this season would have returned a loss of $629 – only Antoine Hamelin has a worse return on investment from jockeys with a win next to their name.

Add the 3 he lost on today and you get 2 from 37.
5.4% strike rate on favorites
