Format
The 2025 FIFA Club World Cup will be the first to feature an expanded 32-team format, hosted across multiple cities in the United States. Clubs from six confederations will compete, including continental champions and top-ranked sides via confederation performance. The tournament begins with eight groups of four teams, with the top two from each group advancing to a straight knockout phase: round of 16, quarter-finals, semi-finals, and the final.
