There was a older lady on the podium and you can see on her face that she thought he was being out of line

My questions.
Why did the authorities do something only after a protest was launched? Why didn’t they act immediately?

Why do the authorities ask this guy to resign? Why don’t they just fire him. If it were we who kissed this girl we would have been fired instantly.

This will set a future precedent for sure.
Maybe go back to kissing the right hand and not even the two cheeks.
The lips may just brush and that can mean the end of , career, reputation, mother, the works.
