Score 6 & 10

After about 2 years decided to play Soccer 10 over the weekend until yesterday.

What has amazed me the pool sizes of the pools including Soccer 13.

The Soccer 10 Pool is reaching almost 2bar and the Soccer 6 almost 500k omitting Soccer 4 and Soccer 13 and various other soccer pool bets.

On a weekend, Friday, Saturday and Sunday their take out if its 25% is almost 4bar. For a month including weekdays I estimate they raking in almost 30 million rand a month or more. Tried to check their financials to see if Sports Pool betting is separate from their other wagering but could see none on Gold Circle and 4Racing did not want to download.

So where is the 360 million rands per year going to. Even if expenses of 60 million rands its still 300 million profit.

If u are able to download 4Q’s financials please upload it to this site. The financials for FYE Feb 2022 is long overdue almost 180 days has passed.

How to confuse your punter

Our Soccer Pool bets are normally referred to as Soccer 4, Soccer 6, Soccer 10, Soccer 13 and some other Soccer Pool offerings.

This Score 6 and Score 10 seems to be a new offering by Gold Circle Only based on the same principles of the normal Soccer Pool bet types. Bob can you find out from them.

If this is the case, Gold Circle offers Greyhound Racing Only, so on the same principle why they cannot offer Irish Racing Exotics by themselves only.

Before they had a so called "Online PA" for every UK centre even if they did not show the venue.

Bob but you can bet on the Soccer 6, etc pools on Tabgold. So Gold Circle is only getting a commission from the sales and not the full cut of the take out then.

So can 4Racing explain where is the R300 million profit or much more going to. Its definitely much more if the take out is 33%.

The online PA needs to come back! The PA is the best UK exotic by far, and having the capability of the online PA at least covers for the event of unplanned abandonment of premier meetings, where the online PA can take on more prominence.

Not having PA coverage of any UK or Irish meeting is only through sheer laziness of not wanting to have to do additional work of declaring PA dividends for an additional meeting, rather than simply taking and displaying the incoming commingled pools dividends.
What other industry can survive where the employees take zero initiative whatsoever to do above the absolute base expectation in terms of bet types offered? Hollywoodbets should start up their own pool bets and have running live tickets, and then I'll never play the tote.

.....and so it begins...GC must feel that they are again not getting a fair shake....so time to introduce their very own soccer betting products....and soon when the going gets really tough look to pull out from the horse racing pools and to form their very own.....they too can woo some co-mingling partners in Ozz and may also be able to participate in the World co-mingling pools as an independent....and should the Cape Racing scenario begin to bear early fruit seek to partner with them in a totalizator venture....

Heaven forbid GC going into bed with the WC again. Remember Coastal Pools......................and GC were fortunate to get a divorce although it did mean losing Clairwood Park as a consequence.
