Going on be some stiff competition up front at City. I can see some players leaving, I think Sterling already on the cards

It appears that Man City are signing up Haaland from Dortmund. Not only will Man City win next seasons PL but Haaland, if he stays injury free, will imvho score 40 PL goals next season.

So having spent about 80 million pounds on Haaland, Pep only has about 920 million pounds left to spend to overhaul the team to win the CL !!
With the quality he had at Bayern and now able to get at will at Man City, last CL win was with Barcelona a good few years back...

Scrappy game and the Villa goal came from a clear offside.

I read Haaland was bought for £51.2 million. If so, that is dirt cheap, my goodness.

Joining Man City
Guessing has never been widely acclaimed as a good gambling strategy.

That's what Dortmund got...it is his buyout clause. Dortmund payed 22m for him. I wonder what his buyout clause at City is.

We will never know how much he is really costing City though.

Southampton are safe from the drop as there has to be an 18 goal swing between themselves and Leeds. That’s not going to happen.

Down to Burnley, Everton or Leeds to join Watford and Norwich for relegation.

Looks like Man City are almost there.

Why would you get a red card with so much at stake. Arteta should dish out stiff punishment.

Disappointing performance and result. Spurs too good on the night but Arsenal still 4th. Two difficult matches to play but they can do it. Hoping that Burnley turn up at Spurs on Sunday as they need a result to save themselves from relegation.

Holding played right into Sons hands. You can’t defend close up when there is space to turn and run. Silly mistake which cost the team. IMO it should have been a straight ref as his elbow was raised.

Even Arsenal fail to make Champs league at least they are back playing in the Europa league . They are maybe a year or two away from really competing in the Champions League so the Europa league will be a good experience for all the young players.
