US Open Tennis

Although Djokovic and Federer losing their warm up tournaments they should stroll into the semi finals with Nadal who won in Montreal. Can any of the young guns stay best of five with the big guns is the key question.

Medvedev could be the best of the rest and keeps improving. Khachanov his compatriot is another who could take a leap forward. Nishikori loves the US Open but not for me to go far. Felix Auger-Aliassime hoping for a good tournament for him and definitely on the rise.

In the Ladies, can Serena finally get a Grand Slam after giving birth. All eyes will be on Coco Gauff the young teenager though. My fancy is Bianca Andreescu.

Best bet of R3 Basilashvili to beat Koepfer (best price 7/10).

Going through the statistics.

Genoa Challenger

Zapata vs Coppejans

Coppejans has a 100% record on clay with two wins over Zapata. Both wins have come this year, 2019.

Coppejans is trading at 7/10. Worth including in accumulators.

Nadal looks a shoe in now but Medvedev has played well over the last three months and will pose a threat while Monfils is getting inspiration from his tennis girlfriend, Elina Svitolina, who has reached the semi finals and will play Serena.

Surprisingly, Andreescu, was only 12/1. The bookmakers that I punt with was not offering who make the finals.

Took some 20s on Medvedev too.

In the beginning of the year when I watched Andreescu play, I knew she was destined for bigger things. Osaka was another player last year that I had my eye on. Andreescu will only get better as she is only 19.

Cannot comment on Nadals win as I was asleep. Looks like 20 Grand Slam is a certainty for him and evens surpass Federer records win with Djokovic hot on his heels to have a go as well.

Looking forward to next year :cheer:

I was suffering from insomnia so i managed to watch the game.... What an atmomsphere... Great fight between the 2. The way Medvedev fought back after 2-0 down was brilliant. Nadal looked to have it all but sealed in the 3rd set only for Medvedev to come back at him. Some of the points that were played last night was nothing short of sensational... Really was a great view....
