I understand that, but then the RA should not be acting in its autonimy.......
I have no interest in what these guys do as I'm not a RA member, but I call what i see.
If I see something I don't agree with I guess I should either make a comment or forever hold my peace!!!!
It would be interesting to see what the outcome is of tomorrows meeting. I think I know already but none the less.

I believe the members can have their say, I have certainly had my say when I have not agreed with something and I have been given decent answers.Without taking sides I do believe that Larry and his commitee have achieved a hell of a lot by talking to Phumelela.

Do you believe that Brett Maselle has the same right? His questions have not been answered, for a very long time. Now the RA are voting to kick him out of the RA, rather than answer his questions. Fair?

Classicl,
I think you asked the questions that they could answer...Not the answers that NEEDED answering!!!
This game is hard enough. We don't need people who act only in their own self interest!!
Lets wait and see I guess

If Phumelela runs racing why are they so quiet then...Like a monarchy...Phumelela the king and the Ra the prime minister like in UK??? If the prime minister slips up he gets a royal slap on the wrist but if there's controvercy the King is quiet and lets the prime minister take the fall and the consequences...shame...
Seems like the RA does all the hard work and Phumelela collects...?

Radetzky, maybe you right? Going to buy some Phumelela shares than I will also know how it feels to be a king. It's good to be King.

radetzky:
Sobering point; should we not approach the jurisdictions and insist that an independant horseracing commission (or whatever) be established in place of the RA (its assets never belonged to any individual or group)?
Members appointed to it should be conversant with the horseracing fraternity and/or declare any interests. If there are owners, there should be no more than 25% representation.
Such boards/commissions are working fine in other countries; why not here?
Something to consider....seriously and genuinely?
Just needs some will power, organisation, orchestrating and mobilising to get going!
