Positives were that she settled better and behaved in the stalls. Negatives were that she still was left standing in the stalls for some time despite the starter being read his fortune if he did this again, and the jockey dropping his hands 300m out.

Lets be positive, we have probably saved ourselves the nomination fee for the Summer Cup. Don't think she would have enjoyed Dubai either.

Personally I think you should consider dropping her back in trip.....Maybe 1400 to 1600m. Also if she does not work out here send her to KZN. Infamously weak racing centre especially out of seasn. Sure you could pick up another heat or two down there.....and the training fees are cheaper!!!!
