adios i understand that one ja. if the workings are 1,29.999999 for a place, the dividend pays 1.20. the 9.99999 is stolen from the punter. many countries pay to the cent, so they will round to 1.29 the place. makes you think if this is legal?

also now you go to the tote with a ticket 32 days old. they dont pay. why?

where does all this monies go to?

I am not greedy..i just LIKE A LOT...
stuff the roundings...I take the whole lot..

change the programs that ATM machines countrywide starts spitting out R1000 every 2 minutes.........decoy..on a saturday...long weekend..monthend..
you think the cops will open cases...imagine the chaos..

take 10% from the fist account, deposit into 2nd account..take 10% from 2nd account and deposit into 3rd account..repeat the process the entire long weekend..
database log tapes will be overridden due to the volumes..and a backout will not be possible..neither a restore with forward recovery..

operators will not notice anything..logtapes on nearline robotics..

audit firms surch as E&Y do not have enough staff to do an audit..
about 400,000,000 transactions per second..

all you need...standard dummy user exit on the database needs to be fixed..
currently no code..but gets included in the nucleus of the database when linkedited..upgraded..or maintenance..

will take them years to figure out what has happened..
who can read HEX dumps and translate back to assembler code...they fired them all... sharetape does have a util to do that..but do they know where...

banks and IT security..a joke...

Gregbucks:

With due respects (I am not referring to holy cows), we should show always show respect to parents & elders (included is compassion for the physically disabled, mentally challenged & terminally ill), and not humour them.

I understand you did not intend any sarcasm, but, if we set the trend, others will follow, in my humble opinion.

The other day, an elderly client of mine phoned me late at night to say that her house in which her daughter lives was auctioned by the bank (without her knowledge)! She was frantic because gone was her retirement home!
