Barry what they said on track is that although the Filly interferred with not only the runner up but also the 5th it was 'accidental' and thereby she kept the race.
Besides which as Noseda said she would have won by at least 3 lenghts if she ran in a straight line.
Anyhow, I remember when you only had 'look' like you touched and they'd 'throw' them out - lol!
Mind you the fact that bookies in the UK pay out first past the post as well as amended result these days prob accounts for why a jock has to practically 'mount' the other Horse before anything changes!

Good morning. back to normal after yesterdays festivities. as you can see by the home page no damage from the gym, but a curry might be better than a treadmill today?
On the subject of JJ next race is over a mile in France, then its off again to Hong Kong or Singapore? so all the best for France then its back on a Jet Plane.

Fleeting Spirit on course for Nunthorpe bid
DARLEY JULY CUP winner Fleeting Spirit is likely to have her next start in the Coolmore Nunthorpe Stakes at York on August 21 despite coming out of the Newmarket feature "a little sore".
The speedy filly landed a deserved first Group 1 success in dramatic fashion after surviving a stewards' inquiry for wandering around inside the final furlong.
Her trainer JeremyNoseda said on his website: "She has come out of Newmarket a little sore but it is nothing that we won't be able to sort out over the next ten days.
"This was probably caused by her wayward course inside the final furlong of that race. I am happy that we can get her in good order for the Nunthorpe, which will be her next start."
Noseda also had news of his Bunbury Cup runner-up Captain Brilliance, who will now head to Ascot for the Abu Dhabi International Handicap.
"I am happy with how he has come out of the race and he will be aimed at Ascotwhere hopefully Johnny Murtagh will take the ride," he added.
Captain Brilliance is a best-price 11-2 favourite with Victor Chandler for the 1m race on King George day.
