Touchy topic!!! Agreed, the presenters are very boring - Shaheen and Jimmy Lithgow especially. Dont think we have the same talent as the Poms!!!

they are boring because they lack the knowledge of racing..can you imagine if the likes of laff and brett smith were in the studio..i am sure their are suitable people out their but tt is a closed shop for friends and mates.do u think nico wants to look third rate ,no he doesnt so he surrounds himself with mediocrity

As I said before, the employment equity ratios would make interesting reading too. Blacks are employed in horseracing jobs where they can't do too much damage - if we had genuinely transformed then we would have white grooms by now too.

It will also be interesting to see how GC's new Financial guy pans out. Racing is not an easy game to walk into with 10 years working experience in a normal corporate environment and a degree or two. That's where Nairac was fairly good - casual and knew how the racing animal works.

But as for Smelly crack - as long as the Greek rules, nothing will improve.
