Here's hoping that the moaners and groaners that people this board will rise above the tendency of posters everywhere and remember the simple messages of Jesus Christ as to how one treats their brethren. This past year has seen a
very considerable shrinkage in the number of posts and posters on the board
and it is directly attributable to the complaining and vitriol expressed.
Negativity is drawn toward boards such as this, which is why the Internet is
both a curse as well as a blessing.
May I humbly suggest that if posters want to comment on the structure and
officials of racing, that they continue to use these boards for those direct
purposes. But if is to make disparaging remarks about individuals of a personal
nature that they cease and desist, because in the end, it is bad for the
posters themselves and makes such impossible reading that readers either
depart the scene permanently or go elsewhere.
The Internet, unfortunately, has become a home for those that, for want of a
better expression, don't "have a life."
Let's see if this board can rise above the nasty and be different. If you have
a need to be nasty, then go and beat the shit out of your dog, your kids or
your wife and spare the rest of us for your own personal failings. Be sure to
call the cops first, though, so that when you display your anger, the cops
can throw your sorry ass in jail.

Thanks Barry, don't want to get involved in a long story on Christmas day, but I am very happy that the site is going strong as far as visitors and sponsors are concerned.
You might be under the impression that we have had a shrinkage in posters and this is due to the fact that only a few of the visitors actually post.
I am positive that the image of this site has changed drastically in the last 6 months and in my mind its an improvement. It was never going to be easy to get away from the attacks on a personal nature.
We are getting there and hope to talk to you again next year on the same Forum.
All the best to you and family, just spoke to my daughter who is having a wonderful time in Miami.

Merry Xmas to all that frequent this site. To all of you, I hope that 2009 brings happiness and prosperity, be it training, owning, breeding or punting.
In the spirit that Mr. Irwin writes, may I ask him to practice what he preaches and to show that he is better than his average American ie. please dont stick your nose into everyones business, there is enough shit to sort out in your own country. A fistful of dollars should not qualify you to pass judgement on South African racing and both forums.
Continue buying up our stock though, those fistful of dollars are always welcome
