Dear Dave

We are constantly trying to improve the GallopTV channel. We have weekly meetings but daily feedback, as well as quick action if something is wrong. We follow all 4Racings feedback too, and make sure that we don't make the same mistakes

Regards Gallop Team.

This is an amazing attitude to have - Wish you guys were the public broadcaster and 4racing was online only.

Now, despite showing that they will be broadcasting racing from Lingfield in their line up this morning, and Lingfield being the sole daytime UK meeting with PA and local exotics offered, these useless are completely forgetting to show the race, but rather we watch the winner of the previous race walk around the parade ring with it's handler. This is pathetic. No improvement.

Watching Gallop TV and it is amazing how much better they are. Beverley first race is about to run, the only flat UK racing the tote is covering during the day, and we are watching Smanga "Bling" Khumalo dismount in the parade ring 6 mins after the running of the race, and no sign of Beverley racing.

Yes Thor was posting on another thread but they have still not mastered the split screen?

Punters want to watch the race.

Cecil just mentioned about power cuts and is giving results NOW and we could watch Gallop LIVE ?

Amazing - Well done Gallop TV.
American racing normally has the screen split into 4 showing 4 different courses at the same time, and switching to others as each venue has the approaching race run. This works for the country of some of the biggest races in the world, and yet, for amazing South Africa racing we need to listen to our on course presenters interview the track dogs, the passing hawkers, the local mayor's assistant, etc, along with watching the horses take a dump in the parade ring half an hour before the race, while actual quality racing is run. How much longer can this go on?

“After 53 years of punting, I couldn’t believe what we were exposed to this afternoon. I was watching Dstv channel 240 and eagerly waiting to see the IOS Drill Hall Stakes runners in the parade. Instead we were provided with Borrowdale and views of the course. Don’t get me wrong. We want to support all racing, but how do they restrict proper viewer access to a leading Gr2 event and give us minor races instead?”

Soma said that he was not sure whether it was a conscious decision or incompetence that had led to SA racing’s prime season and the unofficial Hollywoodbets Durban July starter race, the IOS Drill Hall Stakes preliminaries, appearing to be mostly ignored.

.....with all due respect to Joey....one would expect that most in racing all know about the path that 4Qracing has chosen..... and not taken up the offer from Gallop TV to show their content on 240.....

I did read the Joey letter and remember it was a last minute call to show KZN racing on 240.
So the plan was not to show any races from KZN.

Gallop still don't have the right or permission to show "old Phumelela racing: on their channel.

Good viewing 😪
