Check the improvement when they put Kennedy on La Bastide.
Hadn't won for over 1000 days and he got a 3rd the run before and now the win.

Cecil just summed up Lyle Hewitson's day so far....
He said...Lyle has the favorite again in the next but you will be happy to know we not going with him.
Can't blame the jock if the horses aren't right on the day.
First race the horse stopped badly.
In the 3rd just got beaten.
In the 4th did well to get 3rd on Diamonds and Toads.
In the 5th Sacred Ibis slightly slow away,moved up menacingly but just stopped and didn't persevere.
