We had a little rain here yesterday but nothing to write home about. Sun is out today. Was just as surprised to see meeting has been moved. Unless it poured over Fairview

Just one runner today -Secret Dream in Race 9.
She went a bit sour in Jhb after showing very good promise at 3. She had a nice break on the farm, and has been back in full work for a few weeks. She has never shown a lot on the training track, and while she is ready for this race, in all likelihood will need the run. She has been on the poly in training, and seems ok on it, but this is her first race on the surface, and we would obviously have preferred the turf for her local debut.
Not sure what to expect today, but its a very open race and she is now an MR78 which is 20 points down on her peak rating.

40 minute gap between races. Must be really far from saddling enclosure to parade ring at Fairview.

Julius Mphanya...eish has been riding poorly...
from a 4 draw...he's racing widest of all into the 1st bend...and he's been doing it often lately

Swazi Queen 24 merit rating points inferior to Colorado Springs.
So that's around 12 lengths.
Hewitson vs Cheyne in a tight finish even under huge sufference, there will only be one winner.
