@Thor...

I have acknowledged that MY has been involved in a few incidents that the authorities have penalised him for...we can have our opinions as to whether they were adequate / severe enough in light of the dangers he posed to his fellow jockeys...and I'm sympathetic to any jockey injured...

PS, as an experienced jockey knows that this will be handled by the authorities but still saw fit to dish out his own retribution (reactionary or otherwise) and that cannot be condoned and he will be penalised accordingly...

My "gleeful" comment was't directed to you...so apologies if you deemed it to be so...

I know she`s only been Sprinting, but i think Sweet Future would have been a Fillies Guineas contender?

I just watched the head on and, although I believe any penalty should be meted out by the NHA, Muzi was massively reckless. Just the fact that he moved his body across the horse into striker, shows he had intent to intimidate.
Striker acted out of frustration which was unfortunate.
I think strikers unhappiness started earlier in the race, just after the start when he tried to get his mount as close to the fence af possible and muzi kept his line and kinda race rode striker out wide.

A bad looking race all together

Horse shifted under pressure. Have seen this type of incidents many times in the UK racing, stewards don't even call for an enquiry.

Bad sportsmanship by the striker, will have to accept the consequences.

Not at all arguing the striker sanction but watch muzi's body. If you are trying to straighten your mount with the hands and keep the whip on the same side, then you don't shift your weight in the wrong direction

can we definitely say strydom would have been awarded the objection without his reactions.. highlights the frustration in racing currently across the board.

If Muzi gets 10 days, Striker should get 3 months. Muzi was reckless and tried to do a Striker on Striker, big difference was that he made major contact. Striker in the heat of the moment lashed out.
Senna, Prost, Schumacher, Vettel all lost their cool in the pursuit of victory. They all served their time. So too should Striker.

Are you guys blind, he tried to shoulder barge strydom off a horse. Strydoms balance is the only thing that saved him. Most jocks would have fallen. Yes strydoms deserves a ban, he shouldn’t have retaliated , but Muzi has now done shocking things multiple times and one day it’s going to end very badly for a jockey .

Interesting comments at the race review between Striker and Muzi.

I just saw the race and noticed the race result was changed.

The only thing I will say is that Striker is going to get a holiday for his actions.

Slow motion video where you can clearly see muzi looking at Strydom twice before he decided to take Strydom out.
